This smoothie is rich and satisfying, and is power-packed with phyto-nutrients, antioxidants and all 8 essential amino acids from the berries, with a grand dose of B-vitamins, dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals and healthy lipids from the almonds. This smoothie is great at any time of the day, but especially as a treat or snack later in the afternoon.
12 oz of almond milk
1-2 tbsp of almond butter
½- ¾ cup of blueberries and strawberries
1 tsp of acai
1 small handful of soaked goji berries (or to taste)
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender (I use a Vitamix) until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!
