Cilantro
Cilantro, also known as coriander (coriandrum sativum) is an herb native to southern Europe and North Africa. This herb has a bright, refreshing flavor and flat leaves similar to parsley. Many regard cilantro as a cure-all for viral and bacterial infections, with chelating properties that clean our blood and tissues of heavy metals. Cilantro is the Spanish word for coriander, and is the common term for this herb in North America, due to its extensive use in Mexican cuisine.
